The Sandi Collins (Lillie) Lupus / Cancer Foundation (Foundation), a 501c3 non-profit organization, was named after Atlanta radio and television personality Evangelist Sandi Collins, a Lupus and Cancer “thriver.”
Evangelist Collins created this foundation to spread awareness to Lupus and to share her story of living with Lupus with many who are afflicted with this silent disease.
Lupus is a chronic, autoimmune disease that can damage any part of the body (skin, joints, and/or organs inside the body). It is estimated that at least 1.5 million Americans have lupus with approximated 16,000 new cases reported annually. Globally, it is believed that 5 million people throughout the world have a form of lupus.
